Bro Coffee Roastery Brazil Guaxupe Premium – a Brazilian classic with a citrus accent

Guaxupé is a small town in the south of the state of Minas Gerais, located in one of Brazil's most important coffee-growing areas. The region stands out for its favourable climate and terrain, and bean quality here is shaped by the careful, largely manual work of the growers at every stage of production. The beans for Bro Coffee Roastery Brazil Guaxupe Premium come from farms at an altitude of 800-1000 masl and combine three arabica varieties: Yellow Bourbon, Mundo Novo and Obatã.

During natural processing, the coffee cherries dry whole, together with the fruit pulp, and hulling takes place only once drying is complete. This process gives the cup a fuller structure and a fruity, chocolatey depth. The flavour is led by hazelnuts and milk chocolate, while orange brings juiciness and freshness. The medium-high acidity gives the coffee a lively character, the medium body a smooth, light texture, and the finish leaves a delicately sweet aftertaste.

The medium light roast keeps the balance between the chocolate and hazelnut notes and the citrus freshness. As a result, Brazil Guaxupe performs well in espresso and milk-based coffees as well as in pour-over methods.

Quality confirmed by the SCA score

What is the SCA score? The Specialty Coffee Association is a global authority in the coffee world, setting uncompromising standards. Qualified experts evaluate the beans on a strict 100-point scale during professional tasting sessions. The finest nuances of the brew are analysed: from aroma, through acidity, all the way to sweetness and balance. Exceeding the 80-point threshold is the ultimate proof that the beans are completely free from defects and belong to the absolute global top tier.

At Bro Coffee Roastery, we do not compromise. Every bean that goes into our roaster undergoes rigorous selection. The Brazil Guaxupe Premium coffee has achieved an excellent score of 82 points on the SCA scale, which proudly classifies it within the elite group of speciality quality. For you, this means a guarantee of objectively measured perfection, a flawlessly clean taste and a unique sensory profile that meets strict, artisanal standards.

Craft roasting at BroRoastery.com

We roast our coffee to a medium-light level (3 on a 5-point scale) to highlight natural sweetness and creamy body without losing balance and pleasant nuances. This roast works equally well for espresso and alternative brewing methods.

All our coffees are roasted fresh, in small batches, to reach you in optimal condition. The best flavour qualities develop after a minimum of 7 days from the roast date – following a natural degassing process that stabilises the profile and allows the aroma and balance to fully shine.

The high quality of our beans and the artisanal approach to the roasting process is no coincidence. The commitment to maintaining the highest global standards is confirmed by the fact that our brand's producer is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). By choosing Bro Coffee Roastery, you are opting for a product created by true experts and passionate enthusiasts.

For us, Brazil Guaxupe is a coffee for every occasion. Chocolate and hazelnuts bring a sense of comfort, while orange means we discover something new in it with every cup.

How to choose coffee beans? A guide to coffee types and flavours

The perfect brew does not happen by chance. It is the result of a considered choice, the dedication of coffee farmers and respect for a carefully cultivated raw ingredient. Before an exceptional drink reaches your cup, the beans travel a long way from distant plantations to the roastery. Freshly roasted coffee beans contain hundreds of aromatic compounds, which are released in all their richness only when the beans are ground, bringing exceptional quality and depth of flavour to your cup. That magical moment when an intense aroma fills the kitchen is a true promise of a perfect morning.

Turkish coffee – a traditional recipe for coffee from a cezve pot

Turkish coffee is one of the oldest and most ritualistic methods of brewing coffee in the world. Thick, intense, with its characteristic foam and a noticeable sediment at the bottom of the cup – for some it is the taste of childhood, for others an exotic curiosity discovered while travelling. It is also a way of preparing coffee that requires attentiveness and patience, and in return offers a full, deep body and an exceptionally concentrated aroma. Unlike filter methods or espresso, the coffee here is not filtered – we drink it whole, together with the finely ground particles that give it its distinctive character. Turkish coffee is not just a drink, but a small ritual that you can easily bring into your own kitchen.
