Bro Coffee Roastery Brazil Cerrado Premium – natural arabica from the Brazilian plateau

Cerrado is a vast plateau in the state of Minas Gerais and one of Brazil's most important coffee regions. This is where the beans for Bro Coffee Roastery Brazil Cerrado Premium come from – an arabica grown at an altitude of 900-1250 masl, based on three classic varieties: Bourbon, Catuai and Mundo Novo. It is a coffee that shows exactly why we value the Brazilian style: for its fullness, smoothness and predictability when brewing.

The profile of this coffee is shaped above all by natural processing. The coffee cherries dry whole, and during this time the beans absorb some of the sugars and aromas from the fruit pulp. In the cup, this results in notes of chocolate and roasted almonds, a delicately sweet aftertaste and a full body – a dense, velvety texture of the brew. Medium acidity with a lemon accent adds freshness and keeps the coffee from feeling heavy.

Brazil Cerrado shows its full potential in espresso and milk-based coffees, but it also performs well in pour-over methods, where it gains lightness and citrus freshness.

Quality confirmed by the SCA score

What is the SCA score? The Specialty Coffee Association is a global authority in the coffee world, setting uncompromising standards. Qualified experts evaluate the beans on a strict 100-point scale during professional tasting sessions. The finest nuances of the brew are analysed: from aroma, through acidity, all the way to sweetness and balance. Exceeding the 80-point threshold is the ultimate proof that the beans are completely free from defects and belong to the absolute global top tier.

At Bro Coffee Roastery, we do not compromise. Every bean that goes into our roaster undergoes rigorous selection. The Brazil Cerrado Premium coffee has achieved an excellent score of 82 points on the SCA scale, which proudly classifies it within the elite group of speciality quality. For you, this means a guarantee of objectively measured perfection, a flawlessly clean taste and a unique sensory profile that meets strict, artisanal standards.

Craft roasting at BroRoastery.com

We roast our coffee to a medium-light level (3 on a 5-point scale) to highlight natural sweetness and creamy body without losing balance and pleasant nuances. This roast works equally well for espresso and alternative brewing methods.

All our coffees are roasted fresh, in small batches, to reach you in optimal condition. The best flavour qualities develop after a minimum of 7 days from the roast date – following a natural degassing process that stabilises the profile and allows the aroma and balance to fully shine.

The high quality of our beans and the artisanal approach to the roasting process is no coincidence. The commitment to maintaining the highest global standards is confirmed by the fact that our brand's producer is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). By choosing Bro Coffee Roastery, you are opting for a product created by true experts and passionate enthusiasts.

What we love about Brazil Cerrado is that it has it all from the very first sip: bold flavour, density and calm. And in a cappuccino, it tastes like milk chocolate with toasted almonds.
