Bro Coffee Roastery Crema Rumba – 80% Arabica 20% Robusta whole bean coffee for every day
Bro Coffee Roastery Crema Rumba was created as a coffee you will want to come back to every day. The heart of the blend is 80% single origin Arabica from Brazil, complemented by 20% Robusta from Vietnam, graded Fine Robusta Grade 1. Arabica gives the blend sweetness and a nutty aroma, while a small, precisely measured share of Robusta adds what many of us look for in an espresso: a thicker crema and a creamier body.
We roast the blend to a medium / omniroast level. In the cup, hazelnut and milk chocolate come through clearly, with a gentle hint of cocoa on the finish. Acidity is low, the body is medium to full and creamy, and the crema is thick, rich and aromatic. It is a smooth, balanced profile that stays enjoyable even by the third cup.
Crema Rumba feels particularly at home in a bean-to-cup machine, a traditional espresso machine and a moka pot. In a latte, flat white or cappuccino, its hazelnut and chocolate notes blend with the milk into a harmonious, dessert-like whole.
Arabica and Robusta – the art of perfect proportions
Why blend Arabica with Robusta? Each species brings something different to the cup. Arabica provides sweetness, aroma and complexity. Robusta (Coffea canephora) adds a full body, a thick, lasting crema, a refined bitterness reminiscent of dark chocolate and cocoa, and more caffeine – on average roughly twice as much as Arabica. Blended in the right proportions, they create a coffee more complete than either species on its own. Many classic Italian espressos have been built on such blends for decades.
At Bro Coffee Roastery, we balance the proportions so that neither partner overpowers the other. Crema Rumba consists of 80% single origin Arabica scoring 83-84 points on the SCA scale and 20% Fine Robusta Grade 1 Robusta. For you, this means a brew where sweetness and aroma meet strength and crema – intense, yet smooth and well balanced.

Craft roasting at BroRoastery.com
We roast these beans to a medium level (versatile omniroast profile) to bring out their chocolate and cocoa character, full body and thick crema while keeping the cup balanced. This makes the coffee suitable for every brewing method – from espresso machines and moka pots to French press and pour-over – although it shows its greatest strengths in espresso and milk-based drinks.
All our coffees are roasted fresh, in small batches, to reach you in optimal condition. The best flavour qualities develop after a minimum of 7 days from the roast date – following a natural degassing process that stabilises the profile and allows the aroma and balance to fully shine.
The high quality of our beans and the artisanal approach to the roasting process is no coincidence. The commitment to maintaining the highest global standards is confirmed by the fact that our brand's producer is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). By choosing Bro Coffee Roastery, you are opting for a product created by true experts and passionate enthusiasts.
Crema Rumba is our pick for an ordinary Tuesday and a lazy Sunday alike. Sweet Arabica, a touch of Robusta for the crema and a hazelnut-chocolate finish – a coffee that makes you want to slow down.
