Bro Coffee Roastery Crema Tango – 70% Arabica 30% Robusta whole bean coffee for espresso
Bro Coffee Roastery Crema Tango is a blend we created with confident, characterful espresso in mind. It combines 70% single origin Arabica from Brazil with 30% Robusta from Vietnam, graded Fine Robusta Grade 1. The share of Robusta is high enough to give the coffee distinct intensity and richness, while Arabica makes sure the cup stays rounded and sweet.
We roast the blend to a medium / omniroast level. In the cup, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate and roasted nuts take the lead. Acidity is low, the body is full and creamy, and the crema is thick, generous and aromatic. It is a profile that lovers of classic Italian-style espresso know well.
Crema Tango is at its best in a traditional espresso machine, a bean-to-cup machine and a moka pot. In milk-based drinks – cappuccino, latte or flat white – its cocoa character stays clear even with plenty of milk.
Arabica and Robusta – the art of perfect proportions
Why blend Arabica with Robusta? Each species brings something different to the cup. Arabica provides sweetness, aroma and complexity. Robusta (Coffea canephora) adds a full body, a thick, lasting crema, a refined bitterness reminiscent of dark chocolate and cocoa, and more caffeine – on average roughly twice as much as Arabica. Blended in the right proportions, they create a coffee more complete than either species on its own. Many classic Italian espressos have been built on such blends for decades.
At Bro Coffee Roastery, we balance the proportions so that neither partner overpowers the other. Crema Tango consists of 70% single origin Arabica scoring 83-84 points on the SCA scale and 30% Fine Robusta Grade 1 Robusta. For you, this means a brew where sweetness and aroma meet strength and crema – intense, yet smooth and well balanced.

Craft roasting at BroRoastery.com
We roast these beans to a medium level (versatile omniroast profile) to bring out their chocolate and cocoa character, full body and thick crema while keeping the cup balanced. This makes the coffee suitable for every brewing method – from espresso machines and moka pots to French press and pour-over – although it shows its greatest strengths in espresso and milk-based drinks.
All our coffees are roasted fresh, in small batches, to reach you in optimal condition. The best flavour qualities develop after a minimum of 7 days from the roast date – following a natural degassing process that stabilises the profile and allows the aroma and balance to fully shine.
The high quality of our beans and the artisanal approach to the roasting process is no coincidence. The commitment to maintaining the highest global standards is confirmed by the fact that our brand's producer is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). By choosing Bro Coffee Roastery, you are opting for a product created by true experts and passionate enthusiasts.
We reach for Crema Tango when an espresso needs some bite. Arabica leads with sweetness, Robusta answers with strength and crema – and neither of them misses a step, even in a large cappuccino.
