Bro Coffee Roastery – Whole Bean Coffee Colombia Medellin Premium 400g
- Colombia Medellin Premium is a washed arabica from Andean farms near Medellín, rated 82 SCA points. Red currant and orange layered over caramel and chocolate; acidity and body are both medium – a coffee for every brewing method.
Bro Coffee Roastery Colombia Medellin Premium – Colombian balance in a cup
For decades, Colombia has been one of the world's leading arabica origins, prized above all for balance and clarity of flavour. Bro Coffee Roastery Colombia Medellin Premium is grown near Medellín, where Bourbon, Caturra and Typica trees cover Andean hillsides at 1200-2000 masl. In this mountain climate, cherries mature more slowly, so the beans develop a compact structure and greater aromatic depth.
The coffee is washed: once the pulp has been stripped away, the beans ferment, are rinsed clean and then dried. This method is responsible for its clear, transparent profile. In our roastery, we roast the beans to a medium light (3/5) level to preserve the fruity hints of red currant and orange and bring out the caramel and chocolate sweetness. With medium acidity and a medium body, the result is harmonious and smooth.
Colombia Medellin does not call for any particular equipment. Pulled as espresso, it is sweet and caramel-rich; through a dripper or Chemex, it turns light and fruity; and in immersion and pressure brewers such as the French Press, AeroPress or moka pot, it offers a fuller, chocolatey cup.
Quality confirmed by the SCA score
What is the SCA score? The Specialty Coffee Association is a global authority in the coffee world, setting uncompromising standards. Qualified experts evaluate the beans on a strict 100-point scale during professional tasting sessions. The finest nuances of the brew are analysed: from aroma, through acidity, all the way to sweetness and balance. Exceeding the 80-point threshold is the ultimate proof that the beans are completely free from defects and belong to the absolute global top tier.
At Bro Coffee Roastery, we do not compromise. Every bean that goes into our roaster undergoes rigorous selection. The Colombia Medellin Premium coffee has achieved an excellent score of 82 points on the SCA scale, which proudly classifies it within the elite group of speciality quality. For you, this means a guarantee of objectively measured perfection, a flawlessly clean taste and a unique sensory profile that meets strict, artisanal standards.

Craft roasting at BroRoastery.com
We roast our coffee to a medium-light level (3 on a 5-point scale) to highlight natural sweetness and creamy body without losing balance and pleasant nuances. This roast works equally well for espresso and alternative brewing methods.
All our coffees are roasted fresh, in small batches, to reach you in optimal condition. The best flavour qualities develop after a minimum of 7 days from the roast date – following a natural degassing process that stabilises the profile and allows the aroma and balance to fully shine.
The high quality of our beans and the artisanal approach to the roasting process is no coincidence. The commitment to maintaining the highest global standards is confirmed by the fact that our brand's producer is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). By choosing Bro Coffee Roastery, you are opting for a product created by true experts and passionate enthusiasts.
Colombia Medellin shows just how much the brewing method can change. From an espresso machine it comes out sweet and caramel-like, from a dripper – light and fruity, with a distinct red currant note. One coffee, so many different cups.
